Dynamics of Migration and Integration Processes in Southern Europe

The article analyzes the latest migration trends in Southern Europe. Given proximity to Africa and Middle East, which are main sources of migrant flows, discussed topic is especially acute for region countries chosen analysis, namely Portugal, Spain, Italy, San Marino Malta. Using a comparative approach, focuses on European general strategy reception migrants versus its actual results. Despite fact that EU guidance standards provide foundation immigrant integration policies across region, legal practice, implementation results specific differ widely. To some extent, Portugal ahead other nations advantage result nationwide policy single state body empowered lead implementation. In hand, development performed regionally, meaning absence program and, hence, certain level fragmentation lesser degree efficiency. Italy adopted first plan as recently 2017, it has not brought significant yet.
